Mortus is the animistic personification of death. it is said to guide the dead to their final resting place. Mortus us not worshiped as a god by members of the Empyrean church, but he is commonly used as a personification of death.
He is fond of battlefields and is often depicted as a raven. Worshipers of Mortus are often morose but stand in stark opposition of all undead which they view as perversions of the natural order.
