The Silver Elves were never a particularly powerful or numerous race. They were haughty and aloof, even by elven standards. Exceptionally fine craftsmen and warriors, they considered themselves morally superior and charged themselves with policing East Reach, known in the fourth and fifth age as the Silver Reach. This put them at odds with their kin, the Copper and Gold elves. Sadly, by the end of the Age of Heroes their proud culture was lost in the Tarnishing of the Cele'Ældon. Those few families who were not subject to the Shayri curse and survived the rise of the Drow and Goblin-kin raids were incorporated into other Ældon societies.
Typically Silver Elves had fair, sometimes greyish skin and hair running in hues from silver-white to pale yellow. While hair colour was fairly homogeneous, eye colour varied widely, ranging from yellow-green to deep sea blue, often with streaks or specks of metallic silver. Occasionally these traits will be seen in other elves, proclaiming their ancestry.
Silver elves were nocturnal by nature, holding a great deal of respect for the moon and the stars, as opposed to the sun-revering gold elves. This difference often put the two cultures at odds.
These traits are in addition to the Elven traits found in the players handbook.
