The White Lotus Imports was a Danasian and later Findelian joint-stock company founded in the Fourth Age. It was formed to trade in the Aeternic Ocean region, especially between Delt and Danasia. in 157V the Grand Antiquarian Martino Manocottiva was removed from his position and much of the company was liquidated by the Findle government during the war of Roaring Cannons.
Originally chartered to facilitate trade in basic commodities including cotton, silk, indigo dye, salt, spices, saltpetre, tea, and other goods, the company was used as a front for organized crime and the shipping of illegal drugs and slaves.
Before the war of Roaring Cannons, the company came to rule large areas of Hara Dhuna and many outlying territories in and around the Aeternic Ocean, exercising military power and assuming administrative functions.
In 158V the remnants of the White Lotus imports in Wingar was run by an Ogre Magi named Blackteeth.
Despite frequent government intervention, the company had recurring public problems with its finances. The company was dissolved in 163V after years of scale backs and financial losses.
